While many are constantly debating the existence and cause of Global Warming, there is little argument that new energy sources are going to have to be implemented to help bring about true Oil Independence. Competing with the efficiency and price of oil will not be easy. Many are starting to call for a Manhattan type project to address some of the obstacles to oil independence. We realized this need years ago and the Manhattan 2 Project was put in place for that reason and many other issues facing humanity.

There will be many products and solutions released shortly coming from the dedicated engineers at the Manhattan 2 Project. One of the early announcements will be "Solar Transfer". Your opinions and suggestions on how best to deliver our important information would be appreciated.

We are confident we have a solution that will increase Solar Power as a viable competitor to Coal and Gas as an energy source. Whether that power will energize electric cars or drive hydrogen production is still under investigation. We will need your help. If you understand our math and you realize how halting current installations to then deploy a more sensible energy productive program is worth doing, help us get the word out. Yes that's it. We are currently investigating locations for a Solar Transfer City. You can participate in our program no matter where you live. Even if you live in Northern Michigan you can still make a difference. That is what is most unique about our program. We have found a way to get the most amount of energy out of silicon and more importantly found a way to get millions into the program. To anyone thinking about going solar either because you are a green pioneer or you are trying to cut down on your electric bill, "A single household solar installation is the last thing that anyone should do unless you live miles away from the nearest power line! Efficiencies of solar power systems will be found in volume, mass production, taking the batteries out of the mix, and Location, Location, Location. Just because I live in Seattle and get bogged in by fog every other day doesn't mean I should not go Solar. I simply need to place my panel or my portion of reflective material where the sun will give me the most bang for the buck. Since I cannot afford to travel in space and get closer to the sun I need to find a place on earth (Next to power users) that gets the highest solar constant every month. In our Energy Manifesto we will deliver our final solution, the one that will change energy production forever, but we need to first slow or stop the knee-jerk reaction by our government, Arnold Schwarzenegger and yes even AL Gore to rush out and install or subsidize the installation of photovoltaic panels on your roof. This is a bold statement we are going to make and it will get both sides in this debate upset with us.
"Something needs to be done to break our dependence on foreign oil even if it means Exxon, BP, and others will make much less profits each year effecting many individuals market accounts, but also Green people need to be less ego driven and forget about showing off to the world that you have put solar panels on your roof." For some environmentalist Solar Power was an early noble attempt at trying to be renewable energy pioneers. For others more recently they seem to be throwing money away just to negate their years of consumption or even worse for a publicity stunt. Every installation today and going forward should be compared to a Solar Transfer installation and all subsidies by state and federal governments should only be distributed if the tax payers dollars are going to the solar energy program that produces 2-4 times more power than the current Million Solar Roofs project does. We are beginning to think that we are not the only ones that understand this math and because of that the current Solar Industry seems to be set up more like a scam than a productive movement toward energy efficiency and oil independence. For that very reason we have created www.OilIndependence.org to establish a more sensible approach to energy conservation and renewable energy production. Tell the DOE, NREL, Al Gore, Arnold Schwarzenegger that they have it half wrong. Yes it is imperative that we increase our production of renewable energy but only if we use programs like www.solartransfer.com to take a common sense approach to an enormous problem.

If you have already installed photovoltaic panels please answer these questions if you can.
What manufacturer and model number panel are you using?
What city state country do you live in?
Do you have the panels on your roof or in your yard?
Are the panels fixed or dual axis and if fixed what is the static angle and pitch?
What is the total square inches or centimeters of your solar surface?
How much power do you capture in a year's time?
What percent of your total household energy usage is covered by power from your solar collectors?
Have you had to replace any parts or batteries since installation?

Please keep up the voting and emails to solartrasnfer@aol.com and give us some real world numbers if you have already installed a photovoltaic system and are not getting the reduction in energy cost that you had hoped for. Remember a 2-4 fold increase in power for the same invested dollar means a 2-4-fold decrease in the GHG emissions that would have been produced to create that same power in a conventional fossil fuels manner for the life of that investment. That means for those thinking about solar can afford to delay their installation for further research because if what we say is true and you will find that it is you decision now could be magnified for good or not as good for the next 20-30 years. That is significant and the reason we have been sending out emails to every Senator, Governor, Congressmen and political candidate for the last year!
